Wow.. you guys still waiting on your order? I've had one for 3 weeks, its back at the shop though. hopefully a one off remote/paring issue, I discovered the Hardway (Broken Collarbone) that sometimes the brakes fail.. and when they do it's at the worst time. The board is a great ride it's light and smallish (for a long board) .. I was plagued though with constant jerking dropouts and complete remote disconnects. the accident was the last straw. let's hope they fix it and I have the confidence to ride again on it.

@shawnkohjyhshen was having connection issues too according to this thread:

Evolve Riders Melbourne: City Night Ride

I hope they manage to fix it, let us know the outcome.

The UK shipment is still en route, so it'll be a few more weeks before we get to check them out in person.

I suspect the later my Series One is back in the shop, constant (Dangerous) dropout, I'm starting to see this a lot

Ohhh no. Sorry to hear that. Thanks for reporting back to us! When you get your board back please take caution on it for at least a month based upon my experience. You have high hopes its fixed and then let your guard down. Had my issue pop back up after 2+ weeks and almost threw me off the board again when I had my GT.

Good luck and I hope it gets addressed for you.

OK there has been a resolution, four of the tech's @ Evolve looked at the board over a couple of days, they all couldn't replicate my situation of jerkiness in the braking and acceleration, dropped reception/loss of control resulting in loss of Acceleration and braking (all likely stemming from disconnects between remote and board. In the end, respectively we put it down to RF pollution and environmental factors. power lines TV Transmission towers, as I wanted this board for commutting, I felt it wasn't up to the task travelling through the busy urban area if its easily affected by RF interference, They gave me a full refund.

I have since placed an order for a Bossted Board Gen 2 (they supposedly have increased the transmitter power to cater for reception issues)

Thanks everyone and stay safe !

Sounds like the right choice to make. That's exactly what ended up with my board, they were not able to reproduce the issue, swapped the controller as well as the remote. Still a no go. Happy Evolve did what good customer service is, honor the request of the customer if the customer doesn't feel there's any hopes in a true resolution. Nobody can argue or say anything bad about that. The board works for some and not for others, and you pretty much described why. Good luck with your next board and have fun!

Sadly the ONE board that was won from the Evolve Giveaway is still having issues, it has now been through 2-3 motors, one smoked then died, the other just died. We are actually chatting with the guy who owns it tomorrow to do a vlog about his experience.
