I bet it would, hahaha. The thing is i don't think it is the remote. I think it is the Motor Controller within the board...which is even worst aauuuuhggghhhhh

So if I don’t have a problem now with my motor controller, then once I receive my order on the R2 remote I should be fine.... hmmm... I guess I can give it a try

I just realised Evolve does a 7 day return policy. I think i am just going to do that.... i really don't want to have to go messing around with electronics within something i don't understand and i don't want to risk breaking the board all together. Lucky i looked that up Jeezuz

ya spend that kind of money then ya don't worry what they think, ya made every reasonable effort and followed all the recommend procedures if it doesn't work ya send it back.

    they will accept that.

I just got an email off of them telling me that they are sending me the 'Motor Controller' tomorrow morning ASAP via Express Post.... Dude this better not cause issues with me just returning the board all together :/

do you have the skills and knowledge to install it ? if ya not confident then tell them, they cannot rightfully expect every customer to be capable of this.
if you would prefer for safety reasons to return the board to have the work done it is your right to do so.

haha, since i have the same issue as op they sent me another r2 remote and him a motor controller. I knew the motor controller was bad so the second i found out they told him it was a faulty motor controller i just took mine out. It's super easy and you have all the tools too in the box. It took me about 5 minutes as i had to fight to get the connectors off, those suckers are on there good. This morning i tossed my old remote ( cause why not keep a newer one) in the rma box along with my motor controller sent it out and told them its in the same box. They didnt seem to happy i did that but it's all gucci and he's sending me a new motor controller today (hopefully fast shipping).

Btw I've sent them at least 10 emails lol. I'm not playing around i wanna ride again. Its been a week now without my board. When it worked it was amazing. Gotta give it to there customer service for quick responses though, just wish they sent me a motor controller first.

Yeah, when the board and everything is in working conditions, it’s fun as hell to ride! Almost endless carving...

Sent it back. It was $55 but that is all good. The board was a bit dusty but it arrived that way...so surely that should not be an issue in exchanging the board.
