47 last week and ordered a GTX Street today .Looking toward to some endless carves .Especially when the surfs flat ,although my timing isn't great as we're going through a pretty dame cold spell at the moment over here in the UK. Roll on summer cruises !!!

For sure if you're a surfer this is a board for you!! The trucks on these boards are what separate them from other!!!
Anyone can build a board to go fast on the straight but what fun will that be!!

I'm 48 and commute to work on mine, or just take it out lunch for some adrenaline. Any dry day, or semi-dry w/ the AT wheels, you'll find me on my board. In the winter, you might see me with gloves and a thick down jacket, but I'm on it.

Yo I'm 56 and have wrecked my right hip doing vets moto x, in for a replacement and got kicked off the elective surgery list.
I skated and skied in my teens, I was walking or limping along the marine parade with my dogs when carbon GT came gliding passed on his way back I stopped the rider and asked about board ,the range and was obsessed.
what a cool way of getting that feeling back. So cut a long story short, I brought the Carbon GT AT... what a buzz, i have to be a little careful but the control you have is amazing, the right hip or the trailing hip is gaining mussel strength back and hurting less as you really not moving that much, just carving and loving the feel of it all. my dogs don't know whats hit them
My advice to everyone ever.... get skating on E boards
Evolve have nailed it at moment, i couldn't ask or dream of better

44 here... Used to ride Valterra boards back in the mid to late 80's, off and on ever since. Bought a cheap Benchwheel last year, which, incidentally, great power for the buck; 3.6kw, could move my 6' 1" 270lb frame up hills in my neighborhood, although slow. Had so much fun, said, "F it" and pitched out for a top of the line Metroboard at $2K+. 6K power dual drive blows me up any hill around here with a 35mile battery (my weight and topography, I likely get 17-20, but still), just stupid fun. I considered other boards, but because of my weight, and the fact I'm surrounded by so many hills, I need as much power as I can possibly get, 2-3Kw just ain't gonna do it.

61 here! I bought my Carbon GT in March, after a 40 year vacation from skateboarding. I’ve ridden it 370 miles so far. I love it. If you think you would like skateboarding do it. You only live once. Get a helmet. You will fall once in awhile. Just get up and keep going.

65 , and loving every ride. CGT, CGTR , Boosted Stealth, One Wheel XR , Just did a 6hr. tune up on My CGT. OMG ,!! Cleaned the bearings, installed new bash guard, put 3D fenders on, ( no more getting soaked when riding in the rain) , sprayed Corrosion X ( stops rust) in the motors through the bolt holes , Unreal how my Endless Wave carves now. If your a landlocked Surfer like me get an Evolve , made by surfers for surfers. Having a blast . Thanks Evolve for giving the Stoke back to me.

The Evolve is an untamed beast. It is like the bucking bronco of E-boards. I would say it was a good third board. First go for a non-powered longboard to learn how to balance and turn. Then a used Boosted 1 or 2 off Ebay. They are smooth and well behaved, Once you feel comfortable on the Boosted lay your money down on a sweet, sweet Evolve. You will also be in a better place to decide carbon or bamboo.

You are just trying to go from no learners permit to a Ferrari. It's possible but it is also probable you are biting off more than you can chew. The wild card is I don't know you. You could be a ultramarathoner by day and an acrobat by night, So you do you,

49, and discovered e-skateboards this month. Had not been on aboard since my teenage years growing up. Wanted something to mess around with while out on bike trails with my daughter.

I will be cruising cautiously, and not tearing it up.

Never too old to enjoy life. When you stop you die.
