Oh yea, nice! Lot of New Yorkers on this thread. Should do a group skate.

Gotta ask though, boosted or evolve? which do you like more?

Just got my GT a few days ago and had to hang it up pronto to keep the kids off! It's not pretty but it works great. Still need to refine a bit. The hook is from Home Depot. I seperated the forks a bit by pulling it apart. The forks (hooks) come parallel. Thankfully there is an outlet nearby where I can plug in the adapter to charge it up whilst hanging.

BTW, I think that I should mention that I didn't use the useless drywall anchors that comes with the hook. Since the other side of the wall is a closet, I used two bolts and secured the bolt with flat washers from the inside. The board is heavy so you must mount the hook using hardware that will attach to a stud or wall - not just drywall.

I had the opportunity to ride a boosted board over the weekend. Not knocking the board but very glad I went with Evolve.

Standard charger. I'm gonna try to only use the fast charger on the go. If you want one and I am feeling ambitious i'll size one up for the fast charger.

  15. Sadly I can't mount my board on the wall, so made this floor stand.

Using bamboo skateboard wall mounts from Amazon and bgudell's 3d printed charger holders under the boards:

  17. Anyone able to print me one of the wall charger mounts? Do they take the fast charger or just the original?

I recommend 3Dhubs.com. Download the file from thingiverse and upload it to 3Dhubs. You can browse prices and printers in your area. Shouldn't be more than $30 with shipping.

The model is sized for the standard charger.

Made this cupboard/board rack out of scrap wood. It's a little rough but serves a purpose. Fits all my gear in there as well as my drone and camera equipment and all the chargers. It's on wheels too so I can move it easily.
Will paint it once I move house
