That light makes it look as if have the "Short Circuit" robot hanging out on your board:

And the One80 light makes you look like an angel from above:

    Bahahahahahaha!

So perfect. You just need to add a little bandana and some pronounced eyebrows and you can have your own little Short Circuit on the end of your board :p

That 180 degree headlamp look like it has some serious potential if the brightness is high enough to go out riding. My instinct says no, but my desire for someone to buy one and look really silly reviewing one say yes! Angelic riders unite! Let us know what mischief you got up to with the light on :p

I picked up some cheap bike lights from Amazon yesterday as it's going to be pretty dark at Critical Mass tomorrow.

Front and rear lights for £8 shipped on lightning deal, £10 normally. 300 lumens

Front light doubles up as a removable torch, can operate on either 3 x AAA or a single 18650 battery.

Picked up some Panasonic Eneloop AAA batteries to go with it for £7 as it doesn't come bundled with any batteries from the front light (only a couple of CR2032 for the rear). AAA is easier to take out, recharge and use for other devices rather than having to recharge via a USB cable. Plus I can always keep spare AAA batteries in by bag for night rides and CR2032 batteries for the rear light if I feel I need it.

Tempted to order a second set so I can have dual front symmetrical headlights. There's plenty of room on the front trucks.

Will wait and see how well it work tomorrow first.

Was pretty happy with them, much of London is so bright at night these days I didn't end up down too many dark alleys so couldn't test in the pitch black. They seem good even if just for awareness to make yourself visible to motorists.

They did seem to flicker off an on a bit at one point. Not sure if the vibrations were getting to the torch. The toggle to switch between modes is a very light tap on the power button, so maybe a bit sensitive. Did the job well for £8 though.

I have changed my lighting setup a bit, I now have a wrist mounted backup torch because one is none. Plus I have reconfigured my helmet mount.

The wrist mount is a gopro mount with a 3D printed torch clip. It can rotate up so I can have my hand at my side and still have light in front of me.

I chopped up my head light and mounted one light on either side with Velcro and relocated the battery bank to my arm.

You're correct. You'll probably have to mount the taillights on top of the deck. I run a Thunderbolt taillight.

I got a new helmet and moved my lights over, I like the way it looks.

  19. Looks a bit like this one? 4000LM 4 Modes Adjustable LED Head Torch Head Flashlight For Cycling Camping | eBay

Could the 'whole' assembly just be put on top of the helmet (as if it was just a big head)?

  20. hmm let us know how you go with it once it arrives? Would be great to be able to just slide the whole thing over a helmet. Maybe a bit of velcro to stop is sliding around. What's the deal with the batteries? Supply your own rechargeable?
