It is. The motors come in a box with a QR code link to them. They may be higher rating though. Possibly custom ones I suspect.

Now we need a motor controller so we can use them on DIY builds. Will dual vesc's work? I have a gen 2 and want to get a gt next but also thinking about diy.

Apologize if this is a dumb question, but out of curiosity, if the connectors are compatible what would happen if you connected either of these Dong motors? Would the motor controllers fry or would there just be a decrease in torque/power if using the lower powered Dong motor.

We'll have to confirm with what we have. The KV rating is the amount of revolutions the motor makes per volt. If anyone can test that or knows what we have that would help this thread / community out.

Are these the same plugs as ours?

...so far what I'm seeing from the "net" is that our motors are the 140kv so these should work. The lower the KV the more torque the motor has. If you want more top speed, put in a motor that's 140+KV.

I don't understand the ratings on motors. It seems to have two Watt ratings in the technical specs. One is below our supposed 1500w (3000w total from website) and the other rating is above.

They're showing the other motor, 200kv on the lower part. I'm sure Evolve is not driving the motors with the full voltage of the pack, I believe 42V, if they even drove the motors at 36v you'd be going around 45mph. Most likely they're driving them around 18-24v. And when you multiply 24volts * 34amps (max current for the above motors) you're at 816 watts, which is under the 1200 max watts of the motor. And the KV rating is revolutions the motor or gear is making per volt input.

FYI those three larger plugs down the bottom are for the switch and for the two motor sensors.

Same plug. Worth picking up a couple.

Has anyone managed to find out if the ones from the USA are the same motors?

    All the wire colours match!

That drawing is incorrect, the drawing on the other motor matches. see the m4 hole count is 4 and not 8
