Evolve Bamboo GTX Electric Skateboard Announced

So looks like battery cells on GTX are different from Carbon GT battery.

 

That sounds like some kind of challenge. Maybe they need 3000 watt motors. With sensors. And entirely different ESCs. I may just have some laying around here somewhere...

 

hahahahahahaha i totally called it. 10ah prismatics. Guess they don't want to stack the BMS on the ESC.

I don't know... routing one big hole instead of two makes it seem easier to just swap out the old GT pack with the new GTX pack. The ESC isn't going to give two shits about the pack as long as its 36v.

Of course this actually means slightly less work for me when swapping this prismatic pack out for an 18650 pack of higher quality cells. I'll bet a 30Q 10S4P would still spank the GTX stock battery, but now i have less wood to remove when doing this service.

 

I just ordered the GTX a few days ago. Can't wait until it ships. It is my first electric board and I pumped to get on it and learn.

Know anybody in the UK that would be able to hook me up with an aftermarket pack for my GT? I'm happy to router out then board myself, and I've also got a spare evolve bms lying around . Thx

 

I just got an info from UK that they received the boards today and it will be ready to ship shortly.
I ordered GTX 2in1, hope i will test it even coming week.
I still didnt sell my Bamboo GT so i will have a chance to compare it side by side.
I'm even more excited because of the AT set as i never tried it on my Bamboo GT yet (because of not enough range on it) and because of 97mm evolve set (still ride on stock 83mm on B GT).
