Mmm, I'm sure that's right that it is generally the case. But it's the other few cases where it isn't just low battery that needs addressing and rectifying so they don't need swapping out and arrive spot on from the factory. To their credit their after sale support is top notch.

It's got to be tough managing QC on a product like this, I don't envy any of the challenges board manufacturers face in this regard.

Yea maybe a low battery when the remote actually turns off - the previous poster may have been referring to something else (something more like we are seeing where the remote is on and happy then does something dumb) anyway I guess they answered it (in the simplest way they could) - look how many pages of discussion we have on this forum re the same issue - lol - no space for that and not the right place to discuss on Instagram when you are promoting your boards.

And I was tempted to follow the Instagram post up with "free rolls" or dumps you hard on your ass when it stops dead or takes off with a stuck throttle.... but then again we need more beta testers out there to see if the newest boards are still doing it....

Saw a poll on reddit, asking users if they were cancelling their Boosted order.

It's been up for less than a day and already 116 customers have cancelled and ordered another board, myself included.

Add to that those who have just cancelled and fobbed off the whole e-boarding experience.

That's turns up at $192k in revenue so far, and I imagine the results of that poll are just a portion of those who have ordered an cancelled.

That's a decent chunk of change

Yep, their pre-holiday social media campaign in certainly on point. Seems like their doing well in that regard.

I imagine they are upping production what with increased demand due to market conditions such as boosted halting sales.

I thought they were actually sold out of a lot of stock, but a quick look at the US site shows they still have non-2in1 bamboos available.

Not sure what it like in the rest of the world. I think it's tough managing distribution with a product like this as it takes so long to ship the product across the world due to the air restrictions on the batteries. It forces them to use actual 'ship'ping methods by water, which can take weeks.

Makes it much harder to react quickly to situations like this.

The only things which would worry me is that it will take even more time to recover from this. People will want to wait how the new boards will do over time and some indeed might already have changed their mind on buying a Boosted Board and are looking for an alternative.

I love the fact they are open and communicate often on the progress.

yea maybe near term but would still consider a BB in the future - lets face it most of us can't afford 2-3 cars but eboards by comparison are a lot cheaper - fun to see how different brands do things - looking forward to trying a bunch more...

    Latest update.

Turns out their moisture protection wasn't doing a great job of protecting, now no longer marketing the board as water resistant.

Recall on the battery, free of charge to customers.

Boards being shipped again for customers who have paid, from 20th February. Boards shipped to other preorders starting again from 20th March.
