Hey guys!! Has anyone tried to use some kind of external battery while riding to Increase range? I'm thinking like what a mophie external battery is to a smartphone. Or is this even technically a possibility with the charging capabilities of the Bamboo GT?

You need to make sure of one of two things. Either you are using the exact same battery in parallel or are using diodes to make sure one battery does not discharge into the other.

or just get a big f-in battery that you connect to the charging port in some way??

Greyday if you connect another battery that way with an Evolve, assuming it's also another 42v pack you'll be doubling voltage not capacity and will blow all the electronics. A second battery would need to be connected in parallel to the Evolve battery, not in series like your drawing. Your Arma Senton has that connection because it runs 6S electronics, so presumably you are hooking up 2 x 3S lipo packs to it which give 6s voltage (25v or thereabouts).

Connecting another battery to the charge port, it would need to be able to supply I believe 2-4a at 36-42v.

Evolve pack have 36 volt and my external battery 11.1 volt... Electronic from board can work with 48 volt maximum... The first 10 ride with this connection i messure and controlled batterys with my isdt bg-8s tester with alarm...

A fully charged evolve battery will sit at 42v, I think you are close or over the maximum if evolve board is rated at 48v. How have you connected the external pack? Have you modified it to add another deans connector like on the Arma?
