What kind of bushings do you have?

At 28-30 km/h I usually have speed wobble and I lose control.

I get wobble near 27/28kmh. ordered 98a bushings That should stabilise it a bit,.

I used to get speed wobble on my stock GTR2 Bamboo at those speeds, but then I realised speed wobble is, for the most part, all in your head. Now I routinely cruise around at 42kph, crushing my phaze 2 remote all the while.

I appreciate that is going to be a jagged little pill for some people, especially if they have just had a major wobble, eaten dirt and are convinced it was out of their hands. To be fair to those guys, there are certain speed wobble inducing surfaces, like when you cross the otherwise unnoticeable crest in the middle of the road that is there to enable rainfall runoff to the gutters that lay either side, or cresting the top of a steep incline that suddenly eases and therefore leaves you with a moment of near free-fall. For the most part however, the trick is to relax and let the board come back under you 'naturally'. I have done over 2000km now in 120 hours. Have I come off a few times? Sure, but never sober!

I weigh in at just shy of 100kg; except just after Christmas or other holidays. My setup is a stock, street, 97mm, Gen2 GTR bamboo. I don't like the carbon boards: I think they look 'cheap'. I don't like the all terrain wheels: I think they look like pizza cutters. Each to their own eh?

Okay, that board got stolen out of my car. I must have done easy 4000km out of it and it was battered to all hell so good luck to the thieving hound that now possesses it; and good luck charging it too. The belts absolutely deteriorate after about 3200km but, as far as I am concerned, that's pretty impressive for some glorified elastic bands. I think the lifespan of the stock 97mm wheels is about the same. This time I bought the ABEC 11 74A 107mm wheels on a 38 tooth drive. It sacrifices about 2.5kmh of top speed and proportionally notches up the acceleration and deceleration -- physicists will know that these two things are the same so I apologise for the redundancy.
