I live just blocks from the beach and we have the option to ride paved trails that go along the coastline or we can take off road trails, so we have the best of both worlds.

See, the deportation of undesirables is already working. Don't let the door hit you in the ass when you are on the way out.

The political events this week have certainly evoked a lot of emotion from many people.

Political and religious discussion is not allowed here. There are many websites and platforms out there much better suited to political discussion, if you wish to broach those topics, please do that elsewhere.

Please familiarise yourself with the site rules Fresno. In particular the following one

Racist and xenophobic views are not welcome here. This is a global site for a global community. There are members from all over the world, look at the map. Please refrain from acting in this manner in further posts Fresno. If you are unable to, then perhaps this isn't the site for you.

If anyone has a problem with another user using aggressive behaviour, refrain from engaging them with similar behaviour, report the post.

If you don't want to see any further posts from that user you can use the built in ignore feature on every users member card.

May I remind everyone that this is a forum for electric skateboarding, and as such there are quite a few young users. So I'd appreciate if you could refrain from using particularly strong language, especially in an aggressive or abusive context.

Lets leave it at that and get this thread back on topic.

I'm very sorry to have to post here again Clouder7, this should be the last post in this thread regarding behaviour.

pokiebumwanke has earned a 3 day vacation from the forum for continuing to to engage in inappropriate and abusive behaviour that contains particularly fowl language, after being warned.

Please take this time to cool off and we look forward to your return once you've had a break.

If however, you feel you may be incline to continue with that type of behaviour when interacting with any user for whatever reason, I strongly suggest you use the Ignore feature instead of posting. This will make everyone's interactions across the site much more pleasant, including yours. If you don't, then the suspension may become more permanent, which I don't want to have to do.

Now lets all have a good weekend, shall we!

Only one RSVP....:( well I will still continue to set these up on weekends. Let me know what times work best, since I'm not sure how long people want to ride or hang out in the area.

You could try posting in the evolve FB owners US group or main one. Not everyone aware of the forums yet. A simple copy and paste of the URL of the event setup on here to FB works well I find. . Also helps spread the word and build the community here. :punch:

    Hey Chris,

You can always open a new tab with the member search for users near the ride location, or find the users nearby the event on the map, then use the 'Send Invites' button from the event thread. It's a little cumbersome, but will send an alert to locals.

The events system needs a little bit of work to increase exposure. I've got a few ideas to improve it. One thing I'm hoping to implement at somepoint is some kind of social groups or local geographic usergroup system that members can join. Then event creators can send a single invite that will go to all users who are members of that local group.

For now, it would be great if you can continue to make threads for your events to help keep activity up, encouraging new users to also create and events and check the Upcoming events section :)

Also - the reason for the error when posting on facebook is because currently the content of these threads are private to registered users only. I could make them public

What's the best way to post a link then to FB?

I've gone and updated the permissions so the event threads are now visible to the public. They should share are as normal on all social networks

I would love to go to the ride on January 8th! Havent met any other e-skaters yet but me. I'm located between Sac and SF so it would probably take me an hour and a half to get there. I have an Evolve Bamboo GT with the stock wheels. How is this path? Can the 83mm wheels handle it?

On the RSVP I said I'm going. Anything else I need to do? Thanks
