My Evolve Bamboo Gen gets me around Jakarta just nicely. Traffic is heavy, but slow, predictable and forgiving. Every Sun from 6am it’s car free day, giving me 5 hours of carving across 3 lanes of smooth asphalt over 6 km each way. I'm the only evolve rider in town that I know of so far, and by the looks I get I'm confident that's true! I come home to Australia monthly and ride my Carbon GT AT and 2nd Bamboo board with my boy. Looking forward to hearing of a Brisbane riders event sometime soon.

The video of car free day was shot just as the clock was striking 11am, the time all cars are allowed back on this busy road and my biard turns into a pumpkin. Thats why you see a cop stopping me, then I cross the road and make my way back to my apartment.
