OK you did it. I was also thinking how can I mount my charge 2 to my board so I can rock out during rides but you did it congrads. Currently I just have my phone in my pocket playing music so I can hear everything else going on around me. All this being said has it worked out, does it bounce around like a water bottle on a single track trail? Have you had to use zip ties or anything to keep it in the holder?
Thanks, Gary
This actually worked really well. I used the strap that came with the speaker and a s-clip to secure it to the board while riding. Never came off. In the end I ended up taking this off though. It got in the way during transporting the board. I saw a guy that used a GoPro mount to mount a House Of Marley Chant Mini speaker to his board. I liked that even move then my solution. I think it is on the Facebook Evolve Skateboard group page. Good luck and safe riding.
@[843:@xrayturner] I added a picture of the other guys solution. Good luck with your tunes. BTW I did end up getting some vibration that I ended up getting rid of by balancing my tires.
mrubillo - the go-pro mounts have really worked out well for me too. I use them for not only mounting my camera but also my lights as well. For sound I ended up getting the JBL Clip2 which I have clipped to my belt. Works well except when there is a lot of traffic noise. Enjoy.
