Tried a friends one wheel for the first time last week and have been researching these for awhile. Purchased the XR today. To me the one wheel and eSk8 are 2 different animals. I’ll never stop riding my Bamboo GTX, but definitely looking forward to sharpening my skill on the one wheel.

Love my XR One Wheel. Make sure to wear safety gear to learn. Head to toe. Not a toy. Respect it to the max and it's a ton of fun.

I had a major injury just cruising on mine at 14 miles per hour. I can’t stress how important it is to get fangs installed. My board suddenly nose dived while street cruising and snapped my femur. Still can’t walk or ride normally 10 months after surgery. It’s a huge problem and many people are getting injured. Helmet saved me from a serious head injury.

Thanks for the fangs tip. Hope you get better soon. I did the splits trying to Trail ride to soon. Pretty well healed up.
