on GT Mine hands down are the Evolve 7". Rubber quality is amazing compared to other brands. Not even needed to add tyre liners yet which was at least 1 puncture every month without liners on older MBS. .

My fav on gen 1 carbon would be purple roadies. Find T1 and T3 affect range and top speed, so only a fan of the colours! :p Primo soft as :poop: worse than MBS imo.

What are the smaller Evolve AT wheels - They look like they would be perfect for my commute!

Prototype but didn't work out. The range is awful worse than normal AT for some reason. Think there is more resistance created cos of the size 5"

Do the Evolve offroad wheels (versus the normal Evolve 7 inch road pneumatic wheels) make a difference?

I go over grass alot and i'm thinking of swapping the back two motor wheels on my GT to have some extra threading to help go over shallow sand etc. But if there's no big impact then it may not be worth it to spend the 80 bucks for the new tyres.

    Cheers,

So, not sure if I should start a separate thread, but, anyone try a 7inch wheel/tire combo on a Gen2 board? Any idea how it'd affect range?
