Rumour has it his sleigh this year is using top secret Evolve Racing technology.

How do you think he gets to each of us so fast in one night?

He and his elves run a very high tech operation these days

Found this interesting vid by VikasG on the builders forum about how Evolve hit those speeds.

Haha thanks for the mention. Evolve removed it from their Instagram as soon as I asked about it so I saved it before they could.

Looks like they are using a near 1:1 ratio. It seems like a 30T gear with the original 32T drive gear. They did mention during a call that they made the motors produce a lot more torque at the low end by editing the motor controller so it can actually start moving. I assume they changed the batteries too as the stock ones would sag way too much.

Interesting. Good catch nabbing the vid. Nothing can ever be deleted from the internet once it goes live! ;p

having cracked out over 80kph on my burton T6 at falls creek i gotta say the idea of doing that on a skate seems frightning.

bitumen is way more nasty than a fresh groomed snow run.

i think ill leave this board for younger riders who have yet to learn the consequences!
