Ok so was out on my carbon gt this morning and the board just stopped working, no flashing lights on the controls or the board to inform me of a flat battery, when I got home I proceeded to connect the board to the charger but after four hours charging the board looks to be dead no power whatsoever the power light flickers for a second then switches off, is my battery screwed?:sob:

Did you ride in any water? Might be as easy as a broken on/off-switch.

It was very light rain as I was heading home and the road was wet so could be the switch.
How easy is that to repair?

I suggest you open up the lid and look if theres any water inside. And then let the board dry with the lid open without having the charger connected.

No water the switch and internals are bone dry, so I'll check the circuit with a meter later and try and locate the fault.

Open up the board and push the power button to see if there is water inside the switch. This happened to me when I rode after a light rain the wheels spray water up under the board where the controls are and get inside the power button. For me it wouldn't turn off at first and then would not turn on.

Yeah I've checked the switch for water and left it open all nigh just in case I missed it but the switch and internals are all dry, I've also checked all the connections and they look fine so I'm going to bring a meter home from work tomorrow and see if it's a electronic fault.
Failing that I'll need to send it back to evolve and get the experts to try and solve it, do they have a depo in the U.K. Yet or is it still in Spain?

They do now have a repair base in the UK I believe.

Did you manage to get it back up and running?
