Bamboo GT or Carbon GT, that is the question

Having a hard time deciding whether to go carbon or bamboo like a lot of people I am sure.

What is the weight of BGT vs CGT? Website lists them as the same, but that doesnt make sense to me since the battery is smaller on the BGT.

Are you happy you went with CGT over BGT? Given the 500 savings and they smoother ride, I am leaning BGT but dont want to be disappointed later on and wish I would have gone CGT.

Planning on riding AT wheels. Doubt I will end up with a need for the longer range on the CGT, but hard to say since I haven't ridden one yet.

If you had to buy again, would you still go CGT over BGT?

    Thanks for your comments.

I have both. Love Bamboo for it's ride, appearance.
But battery is much weaker in comparison with Cgt and I'm currently rebuilding it. It's not just about the range- battery pack is simply too small and gets too much stress, resulting bigger voltage drops under the loads, all that shortening the life cycles, especially on AT set up.
And personally I like bamboo deck's width but too me the standing position just a bit too short.
Carbon GT is almost perfect - battery is much stronger, it's longer standing position makes start stop easier to handle, but CGT deck just a bit too narrow IMO.
When it's new - looks just amazing but after a few rides you'll have a lot of surface scratches, even from your shoes.
So I couldn't decide myself- ended up getting 2. Once my battery mode completed on BGT it will be closer to perfection
    Cheers

I have both and use the CGT far more often, The BGT is for people who don't use AT or go on long rides imo.

I definitely disagree with this, personally I think the ATs are more comfortable on the BGT than the CGT due to the flex, it creates a little more cushion for your feet when actually using the ATs off-road or on rough surfaces, after using the CGT off-road i noticed my feet were slightly more uncomfortable than when riding my bamboo due to the vibrations. The range is definitely a killer for the bamboo though, getting a max of 8-10 miles with ATs isn't exactly ideal.

Just made the same call... Went the carbon GT and waiting delivery.

In the end the range on AT wheels was the kicker as the carbon I can get to and from work on one charge.
