Carbon/Bamboo GT drive belts fraying

So I've taken the board on its first short ride a few days ago and today on inspection noticed fraying of the inner construction from the drive belt. The clearance is adequate to the rest of the components in the area, so there is no rubbing of any sort.

I also inspected other belts and noticed this inner 'fabric weave' is exposed on random areas of some belts (instead of being covered by rubber).

Should I be concerned? Could I just sand it off and call it a day? Opinions appreciated.

I'd just put a lighter to the frayed part or cut it and not worry about it. Stuff like that isn't an issue, just cosmetic.

What you really need to look out for are rocks and pebbles getting stuck in your belt as well as in your pulley teeth. Every ride you should rotate the wheels and see if you feel any bumps. This will eat up your belts/pulleys for sure.
