Thought everyone might be interested to view the video footage I have, recreating the malfunction that caused my accident.

A few months ago I was riding my Bamboo GTR along the road, while cruising at approx 20km/h the board suddenly stopped (malfunctioned) and I was thrown forwards, hitting the ground and breaking my wrist.

My wrist required a titanium plate including multiple screws to correct during surgery.

The board was returned and refunded from the retailer, it was then sent back to Evolve who proceeded to come up with every excuse under the sun to discount any liability.

Video link (to iCloud Drive) show the following.

    1. I show the board and the remote are turned off.
    2. I push the board showing fit rolling freely with no resistance.
    3. Board is turned on, followed by remote.
    4. Wait for Bluetooth connection and show this is complete on remote screen.
    5. Pull trigger, noting that very quickly remote drops bluetooth connection with board.
    6. I push the board to show that there is now resistance/braking force that prevents free rolling of the board.
    7. Remote shows no connection, board shows flashing blue light.

Wow!!! Please send this video to Evolve and let us know what the outcomes are. (I don’t think this forum is connected to the company). Thanks for getting this figured out! I’m happy your injury wasn’t worse. (!!)

What steps are you using to make the remote disconnect from the board? I’ll see if I can duplicate that on mine.
