Lost Bluetooth connection

Love my new carbon GT all terrain. It is one week old. Today it refused to pair to the remote control. The light on the bottom of the power button just flashes blue. The remote control shows the antenna for a second and then it stops a second and then it stops and continues in that pattern. Does anyone have a clue what I need to do?

 

You can unscrew the screws of the remote, split it, then do a full disconnect of the remote battery. Hold the right button on for a bit to discharge anything in the remote. Shouldn't be needed but always good practice to do a discharge of things, usually only electronics that have capacitors you need to do this. Wait 15-20 seconds, then reinsert the battery. And give it a try. Beware that you get the right phillips screw driver head for the remote screws. If they strip, you're screwed, literally.
