ride zigzag or straight when climbing in GT on AT?

I can power up all the hills in my neighborhood without problem. I ride both street and AT (on & off road).

My question is, which is better for the board in the short/long term:
    a) zig zag: lower torque, longer ride up hill, power shifting between motors when turning, or
    b) straight: higher torque, shorter ride, no side-to-side power shift

I can do either. I don't see much difference in short term battery life, but want to ride this for a long time, and don't want to cause unnecessary wear by riding it "wrong" uphill, in the hills.

    thanks!

I reckon straight and fast with a run up. Both motors are then working equally for the shortest amount of time. When you zig zag one is working harder than the other.
These boards can go up hills on grass for ages. So if you are on hard ground I think it will be easy below is limit and thus not stretching it to wearing out point.
