    Thanks Zero.

Just bought the 245 = 49 teeth and will report back on the new belts.

They should work as 5mm is not a great deal.

  8. Just found original Gates Powergrip belts on www.zamro.be. The only thing is, for now they only deliver in Belgium, but who knows if they will be shipping in Europe soon.
Got the 360-5M-15 for € 11,3 (incl. tax) and the 255-5M-15 for € 10,10 (incl. tax)... the 250-5M-15 was not available but 5mm extra won't matter much I suppose. If not I can always return them ;p

Interested in this as well, also based in NZ and the evolve distributor has not yet stocked any spare parts which is pretty poor.

    What about these belts?

Hey rennwerkes, I can recommend getting these belts for Evolve's standard 32T gears directly from Romp themselves (they only supply the correct belt size for 32T, with no option for the 38T). They sell a pair of belts (not priced individually as per Evolve) for $23.95. I have been using a pair on my Carbon GT with my Abec 97's, since the end of June. The quality is of a very high standard & when I placed my order I went for two pairs to give myself a spare set for the future.

The link for Romp is: Shop

    Thanks for the suggestion!
These will save 50%+ on belts compared to stock Evolve belts.
    Great forum!

Hey, no problem glad to be able to pass on to you and any other GT owners, that these are a very solid replacement for the original Evolve belts at a much more realistic price. As previously stated, I have given them three months of use now and probably clocked up at least 200-300kms with no issues. I highly recommend them and you will not be disappointed with the quality!

    Am correct with this ?
