R2 Remote issues

    Hi!
I'm having intermittent issues with my R2 remote paired to my GTX Bamboo board. Using the brake causes the mode I'm in (eg. GT mode) to instantly lose all power. Throttle trigger has no effect. The remote display remains visible. The Brake works. Light on/flashing on board. Just no power in that particular mode. If I change gear (eg. toggle down to Fast mode) the power returns,... board works normally,... until I hit the brake. At which point Fast mode becomes inoperational. No power, only brake. So I flick back up to GT mode (or down to ECO mode) and it's working again,... until I hit the brake.

    Any clues?

  2. Sounds like the brake values need resetting. The spring tension on the brake lever seems to be a bit variable and when you press the brake lever in and out a few times, the value it comes back to can be different. If the "brake trigger" and "brake min" values are close together then sometimes the remote thinks you still have the brake lever pressed (which overrides the accelerator). Try pressing the brake in slightly when you set "brake min", that will create a small dead zone when you first press the brake lever.
