What’s your average cruising speed? What’s your preference in speed modes?

Curious as too what speed and settings most prefer on a normal ride.

I cruise and carve around 15-20mph. I typically cruise in fast mode due to ability to accelerate and climb small hills, but will switch to eco mode around traffic and slower riding areas. If you’re not careful and pull the R2 in fast it can catch you off guard at slow speeds.

Who uses GT mode on a regular basis???

My cruising speed is around 18-22 mph on A/T.

    18mph max on ECO
26mph max on FAST / GT

I used to stay in Fast mode, but now I'm pretty comfortable with GT mode. GT mode while in traffic to get ahead of cars then switch between ECO and Fast for cruising.

I use eco on the flats, and fast everywhere else. Haven't bothered with GT mode so far. I tend to ride between 12-16mph on ATs.

Mpowered – I pretty much use Fast 80% and GT the other 20%. The only time I use Eco is when the board selects it for saving the battery on a big hill well into my rides. I average between 16 to 22 MPH depending on road conditions and such. I use the R2 remote now and really like it. I think the one thing that has really helps me is pushing off from a stand still like any non-powered board. That not only gets me going well but eliminates the need for the dead man’s switch when starting from a stand still. Have a great day!

I bought some AT wheels recently and was riding around a BMX track, I used GT for that..
But like Mpowered I use Fast all the time when getting around. I generally sit around 20-30khm (mostly 30 these days) and push it to 35ish when I am on a nice smooth bit of path and feel like having some fun :)

I usually use fast & eco.ECO if I’m on a schedule & fast for fun & stuff.I’ve got rather long commutes sometime so 14-16mph on eco it’s but after years of pushing wood it’s quite nice & somewhat of a norm.Of course at night I’ll let loose on fast mode & even GT.Mostly charging & slashing down the same flats & through the same neighborhoods I’ve been riding for over decade now.

I use GT to get me either to top speed fast or on hills then change to high speed to maintain a nice 30mph (on a good calm day) without killing the battery.
    I crusie around 23.
Eco is only used in an emergency to get me home and Slow is only used when letting friends or family try it out.

    God I love this board....

I GT all the time... speed depends on conditions and how well you know the terrain. I tend to avoid where there are people, and slow down or stop near them because of kids and dogs and sometimes to say hi.
I think 25-30km is a nice cruisy speed if the way ahead is open.

  10. I use fast mode most of the time. Use GT mode to get across streets quickly and use Eco mode for flat cruising. I wish that Evolve would tune the acceleration curve just a tad bit in ECO mode just to handle those slightly bigger hills. Love my GTX though

Carving around 15 km/h, cruising around 20-25 km/h. If I need to ride on the road I try to keep 30 km/h. Anything above it gets complicated with very loose trucks which is my case.

GT 90% of the time, once I got used to the trigger it's rare to use anything else. If I need to ride among pedestrians I normally switch to Fast or Eco dependent on how crowded/hilly the place is.

  12. GTX street 2 days old.... was thinking i would cruise at 30km/h for work commute... With strong head wind i think i will be lucky to get 20 km's at 30 km/h. little gutted but i will upgrade the batt asap.

I stay in GT mode almost all the time. I don’t have a problem controlling my speed with the remote.

GTX rider here, I use GT mode for offroad, you get more torque when you're in rough terrain.
Fast mode is the usual at 14-18mph and eco only when my battery is getting lower.
