One of the belt-driven wheels spins for a half second longer... is this normal?

I just got the Bamboo GTX and love it so far besides the remote (coming from Boosted).

I put the board on it's back to see the acceleration curve from the trigger and noticed one of the back wheels takes a half second longer to stop spinning after braking. The other wheel stops pretty much instantly.

Is this normal behavior? It behaves fine while riding but it's my new baby so I'm noticing all the small things :)

Also, I am a little annoyed the front truck is bolted on the deck crooked. Am I just being nit-picky? The spacer and bolt overhangs from the deck and I worry about the wood integrity (image attached). But I am no expert on this kind of stuff!!

    Looking forward to anyone's help.

The wheels not stopping at the same time is due to the belt tensions not being the same,if you undo the motor mount screws on one of the motors and either tighten or loosen the belt tension slightly to match the other ,as for the other problems i cant help as i have a carbon gt but it doesn't look right

Thanks for tip about the belt tension!

The truck installation is pretty sketchy but i'll keep riding for now haha

arrexender - I agree with what Mr smith500 said about the belt tension but I too don't think that truck mount point looks correct. I would take that truck completely off and see where that those holes are drilled. If too close to the edge I would contact Evolve and see what they will do about it. It may be the template used to drill the holes was off when that board was being built. Do it now while the board is still warrantied. Take care and Enjoy.

xrayturner - Thanks for the input. I will reach out to Evolve and see how they respond. Will update the forums afterwards.

After riding both boards, I got to say the whole Boosted vs. Evolve reminds me of the old Apple vs. Android debate. Boosted/Apple focuses on attention to detail with a sacrifice in raw performance while Evolve/Android is rough around the corners but with better raw performance. Each has their own crazy fanbase and deserves its praise.

Boosted will only get better in performance and I truly hope Evolve takes the correct steps to mature their boards and listen to all the great and repeating feedback seen online. At the end of the day, us riders win :)
