Noob question: AT wheels vs. Abec 11 107. I swear I searched before posting

Very first post, and yes a noob.

I did a few searches on even something as broad as "wheels." Search results with nothing pertaining to the subject, that >I< could find.

If there is already a discussion on the subject, please share.

Otherwise, so? I have the stock streets on my GT, my neighborhood has very jacked up roads. If I take my eyes off the road for a sec, I will be tossed. But, I don't want to loose TOO much distance going with the ATs, and LOVE TO CARVE. Slow. My comfy carving speed is around 14mph.

    Experiences?

Thank you for your comments in advance!

With the battery in the GT, you'll be unhappy with the range if you switch to AT wheels. So unless you're considering a battery upgrade, stick with larger street wheels. Many will try to convince you that 107 wheels are the way to go, but personally I prefer the Abec 11 97mm 74a ReFly wheels. They're MUCH lighter than the 107's. They're also grippier, and feel softer though they are of the same urethane. Some may suggest the 100mm BOAs. I've never tried them.
