R2 remote fixed?

Hello everyone, I was currently looking into getting an evolve board but I keep coming across people with remote connectivity and pairing issues. I did notice though that most cases where in mid 2018, can anybody chime in to let me know if this issue has been fixed or not please...thank you

 

From my stand point I can say......I use the R2 and don't really have any issues with it. It is much better than the R1 remote. I did have to send it back when it first came out for the firmware update for remote battery drain. I can't say I have never had a drop out but they are few and far between and no queueing of commands like the R1. When it isn't raining or snowing I usually use the board a couple times a week and at this point I have swapped the battery. It will be two years old in a few months and has been a solid board. I would recommend the board with a couple words of advice. If you are going to use it like a race car driver no holds bar pedal to the metal you will crash at some point and you may hurt yourself. It’s a great board to get you from point A to B having fun while doing it. It isn’t perfect and will require some amount of maintenance but it’s a helluva fun ride if you take some precautions. I’ve had my GTX two months now, and ride it daily to work. I have only one bit of advice when it comes to the remote, if you deop it (its happened to me teice) you need to recalibeate it. The proces to recaibrate it is failry simple and there are a few youtube videos on it. I love my board so much i bought my son the GT. He and I ride at nights after school for fun. I do not go out in the rain though.

 

no problems with my r2 remote for 1 Year now. Go get it.
