    Hi everyone,
Been reading lots of posts here over the last month since deciding I NEED one of these boards. I’ve lost count of the amount of videos/reviews good and bad I’ve read and then just when I thought I’d made my decision I read something negative and i seem to go back to square one again. Sadly I owned a esk8 board several years ago as I used to enjoy long boarding with my step son so bought this board and it was terrible. Ended up sending it back for a refund, so it’s made me a little bit hesitant, especially paying the amount these boards are. Anyway, any advice greatly appreciated. It’s either the GTX or Carbon GT. I’m more swayed towards the CGT, but I am basing that just on how sexy it looks. I know the only main difference between the two is flex, but it seems I’m reading more issues with the CGT than the GTX so am still unsure.
Anyway, wanted to say Hi, and safe riding to you all.

i Have a gtx, about a month now. no real issues to report its been great.
i have abec107 38t drives and the board wheel combination has met my expectations so far.
the new remote firmware hasn't done anything weird to me yet, about 3 times so far iv had signal interference but it just goes back to safe it doesn't spaz out. when this has happened i don't even stop or turn off the board i just power cycle the remote while still rolling along and everything seems fine.

keep in mind this is just my experience so far and others may have different opinions.

Thank for the advice. Glad you are enjoying the GTX. They do seem to be more popular than the CGT, so maybe that’s telling me something.

i chose it over the carbon because of the flex that was the primary reason, iv been watching the eboard space for quite some time and had been keen on an evolve board for a while. the main thing that stopped me was the carbon is a plank and the bamboo gt didn't have the range.
so when i recently checked the evolve website and seen that gtx it pushed me over the edge.

Yeah, I’m soo torn, because it’s cheaper as well. I just love the look of the CGT though. I’m sure I’ll make a decision soon. I also want to know whether Evolve are likely to reduce any of their boards over the Christmas period as I missed Black Friday. Don’t want to buy now and then they knock off £100 during January. Not sure if that’s something they do so will wait a couple of weeks and see.

don't know where pricing will go over the post xmas period, i got mine before black n cyber friday monday but the 100 bucks didn't bother me and the 300 bucks difference between gtx and carbon wasn't a factor either.

it was the flex all the way.

someone hopefully will correct me if im wrong but even though range is comparable between them carbon still has a slightly superior battery structure and a longer wheel base, carbon is suposed to be a little more resistant to voltage sag and a tad more stable at top speed. none of that is a problem for me since my style won't push the boundaries of those limits.
