Hello from Canberra, Australia

I’ve never really done much with skateboards before, other than aimless stuffing around that never went anywhere when I was still a kid. Three decades later, I’m looking seriously at a Bamboo GTX 2in1 to improve the quality of my commute and generally have fun. I love the tech aspect of electric boards, and having recently sold my motorbike to finance travel, the longboard seems to me to be a pretty good “next best thing” - and I suspect has potential to be even better, and certainly more affordable overall. Not planning on doing anything too crazy, just going to take it nice and slow to start with, and see where it goes from there. I’m expecting to get the purchase sorted in the next week or two, and hit the streets (figuratively, not literally, I hope!) soon after. If any other Canberrans are around, I’m in Weston Creek.
