Bamboo GTR board turns off randomly.

I've had my board for a couple of weeks and three times I've had the board just turn off randomly. The controller vibrates and the board just goes dead. I need to switch the board off and on again to get it working again.

Lucky it's only happened while going slow. But it's a bit of a worry that I could just randomly lose power at any time.

Has anyone else had this at all?

 

The board will turn itself off after a short time to preserve the battery.. so if it’s not happening immediately after riding, or at least within 4-5 minutes, then you’re board is doing what it’s supposed to.

I’m not sure the exact length of time it is for the board to turn off..

 

That can't be it. It happens while I'm using it. Like literally with the trigger engaged and accelerating. I've also disabled the auto off function from within the remote.

 

Well that’s a buzzkill..

Check with evolve, most likely have to send it in to diagnose. Gtrs aren’t as easy to “fix” as the gt/gtx
