Hi just wondering if someone with some battery knowledge can look at these photos of a bamboo gt battery and explain what the numbers that are written with black pen mean.? My understanding is each cell should be at least 3.7v and I'm assuming that the number at the top is the voltage, if that's the case dose that mean evolve used faulty cells in this battery as one has 3.1 and another has 3.6...I only just opened the pack to see what would be involved in building a custom pack and found this information already on the battery and found it interesting. Cheers {} {}
Notice also it says 6.5Ah where Evolve sold it as 7Ah, just like the supposed 10Ah says 9.5Ah actually... I much rather think the middle numbers have been the cell voltages after assembly, "3.827, 3.825", makes more sense as that would be a pretty good storage voltage. Imagine the cell having 4.6V as written on one of the cells, that's pretty impossible. I always label my new LiPos with the individual cells' internal resistances. After reaching a certain amount of cycles the voltage might seem normal but the change in internal resistance of each individual cell tells you more about the state of the battery/cells. I think that is what the top numbers are.
