    Ouch mate!

    That looks like it hurt.

Heres mine from my second or third ride after getting the board.

I was comfortable enough to start increasing speed, but not good enough to stay in control and turn quickly when a big log suddenly jumped out infront of me from no where! :see_no_evil:

What you can't see from the image is the ongoing pain from the sprain for a good month afterwards.

Wrist pads at all times now :punch:

    Arms make bad wheels.

First commute to work, dropped the wheels into a storm drain and cut up my hand.

Second trip to work, speed wobbled, braked (bad idea, made it worse) and supermanned. Landed with my left arm underneath my stomach and the forearm rolled in ways it shouldn't. . . the bruising is from internal injury from the rotation.

Took both of those to learn that it was more like a motorcycle (that probably shouldn't be ridden flat out everywhere) than a powerwheels, that should just have an on off switch for the throttle.

Somehow still convinced my wife to ride. She's awesome :D

*for clarity, the picture is my arm that doesn't make a good wheel, not my wife

  7. Here's a fun one. Got 7 stitches on my pinky finger. I was wearing half-finger gloves at the time, which got shredded up too

You can't tell because of the blood (this was after it was cleaned up) but when it happened I could see the ligament and bone on my knuckle. It was pure white. I could also see a blood vessel pulsing with flowing blood, very gnarly. The skin got flayed out over the knuckle thanks to some asphalt. The most fun part was that I was quite a ways from my car when it happened, so I had to get back on the board and ride all the way back, holding my hand up in the air then drive to the ER to get the stitches

Haven't fallen yet. I go 25 mph everywhere so when I do I'm sure I'll have contribution. 25mph seems casual after awhile and I'm not looking forward to gaining a new respect for the boards speed.

Ha, you should try jumping off at 25mph...just to test how to faceplant the road.

Another one bites the dust. Stacked it pretty hard last weekend, ripped my fav jeans and left me hobbling for a few days. What you can't see in the photo is the huge graze below my knee.

Fell off going down quite a steep dirt track hill on the park. Hadn't been down it since last summer and the ruts were awful, way worse than I remember.

I've got to remember to wear proper elbow and knee pads when going over particularly rough terrain.

I had to google what knee graze meant and it was autocorrected to "knee graze infection images", I wish I hadn't done that. What has been seen can not be unseen. Take good care of yourself and get well soon, but ...

I just took the wrap off from my ankle injury last week.

Oh boy, besides being super silky smooth as a result of the free waxing session when removing the bandages, it appears I now have a zombie foot. Definitely way more purple than it's supposed to be.
