Battery only charging to 41v

The first month I had my CGT it would fully charge to 42v but in the past week it stops charging at 41v. But if I unplug it and plug it back in it will keep charging again to the full 42v.

What's going on? Is there a problem with the BMS?

Also only getting 24mph on a full charge with the 97mm wheels on.... hmmm

EDIT: Got it up to 24.8mph on my last ride. Still 1mph slower than usual, on a full charge I usually get 25.8ish on flat ground.

Evolve designed the BMS to charge to 41.5V max. The speed has too many variables: weight, weather, road condition, voltage, etc. Also the motor controller will modulate speed as a function of SoC (probably voltage, not sure). Lower SoC, lower the speed.

Well yeah, when I say 42. I mean 41.6 or whatever it said every night after a full charge. Now it stops at 40.6 and I have to unplug it and plug it back in to get to 41.5/41.6

One of the series in the pack is way off balance I think. So it gets to 4200 fast and stops the charge...? idk if that's causing it and it will fix itself eventually or whats going on

How off balance are we talking about?

Yea I don't like that. You can put it on the charger and try letting the pack balance and see what happens. If it goes out of balance again, then I'd call Evolve and get a new pack. You said your board is less than 2 months old right?

Yeah it's less than two months old, i'll contact evolve if it stays out of balance. Thanks!

Is there a way to bring up the cell balance display like what you've shown with the older remote firmware? I still have a remote that doesn't kick me down to ECO mode under certain battery percent.

The feature is present in the older remotes. I have one as well. Didn't upgrade because the ECO kick down is unnecessary. The procedure is the same.
