Hi, i received a Carbon GT AT and on day three, the left motor starting having problems. Sometimes when carving to the left, it feels like its slipping but the belt is fine. Like its inside the motor. It makes a clicking noise when its experiencing this issue as well. It also feels like it doesn't have the same power as it did out of the box. When looking at the motor for signs of a visual problem, I found that the motor spins when I can hold its tire still, when the right motor doesn't do this. I've reached out to evolve via email but no response yet, maybe due to it being the weekend. Has anyone experienced this or know what my problem is with the board?

Hey. There should be no way that the motor can turn while the tire is still. The motor cog must be on the shaft which is then secured by a grub screw (1.5mm). The belt then drives the main gear which is of course locked on to the wheel. Take it apart and have a good look, from what you are describing, it should be easy to see what's up.

I have the same problem with one of my motors too. It's the can that will rotate a few degrees if you don't have the grub screws perfectly set. With a black sharpie draw a line on the rear end of the shaft going from one grub screw across to the other. hold the wheels and rotate the can by hand you'll see it no longer lines up. It's not going to spin freely all the way around but it will slip on the shaft and that combined with the high tolerance of the drive gear makes for a lot of slack in the drive line. This has happened to me from day 1 and it's quite annoying!
