I haven't seen anyone taking advantage of the fact that Boardbumpers AT gears let you run Trampa wheels.

Well here is my current favorite setup. Trampa Superstars with MBS roadie tires.

The 8" size gives you more speed. The Trampa/MBS combo lets you run mich higher tire pressure. I'm currently at 65 psi, but the tires can handle something like 85. This improves rolling reistance on pavement.

What's your max speed on the 8"? I assume you bought the 66T Gear hub to fit the tramps.

I bought 2 sets of 8" MBS (Roadie and T3 Vine) using the stock Evolve hub.

Hows the vines on the stock evolve rims ? Much better on terrain? And the roadies? Do feel a significant difference compared to the 7 inch ?
BTW does the 7 inch tubes fit the 8 inch wheels or should I get 8 inch tubes?

You would need to get 8" tubes.

I switched to the roadie after having the vine for a month and I didn't see any difference aside from the grip aspect on grass.

8" is a little more comfier ride and faster, I'm maxing out at 26mph

What about range difference ? Noticeable ? Why did you switched? The vine supposed to be much better on dirt and grass, isn't it?

I haven't really done a long-range test, but I've done close to 15 miles just below 50%. Fast and GT mode. You'll notice battery sag at that point going any bridge or heavy load (fast or GT). The vine is definitely grippy on grass and dirt. I road mostly on the road that's why I switched.
