I decided I was sick of scuffing up my boards nose. So I went onto Flatland 3D's webpage (If you haven't already check out the awesome stuff for both evolve and boosted boards). Products Archive - flatland3d

What wasn't for sale was a nose guard for a Bamboo GT so I decided the Boosted Board Bash Guard was a good start. Cutting and sanding I modified it to fit my board. Very happy with the result.

Hey! Steve from flatland3d here. Excellent mod! Would you mind keeping me posted on how that holds up? I'm especially curious how the plastic around where it's mounted holds up after some miles. Thanks man, looks good!

Hi Steve, Great product. So far no problem. I would have preferred to use all four mounting points, but unfortunately the boosted board guards are just too short for the longer nose length. Hopefully the two will stand up to the beating. I had some vibration issues originally but adding in some cutouts around the nose helped.

That guard looks good, do you mind uploading some more picks of your deck that colour looks nice, is it a wood stain?

Yeah it is wood stain. It was actually your comment to my first redesign that made me change it. Haha
"Not sure why, but personally to me (please don't take offence) black grip take makes it look kinda cheap. I think its because it makes it look like the deck could be made of plastic."

After your comment I couldn't help but agree with you, hence the change. I think the stain makes it look more classy.

That was the idea. A mix of vintage with new tech.

I have designed a custom nose guard for the Evolve Bamboo GT.
Designed to fit underneath the front truck and available in both orange and black.

Benefits of the guard is that it:
    - Saves your boards nose from getting scraped.
    - Makes it easy to stand your board on its nose.

    Check it out!
