I have a Bamboo GT with AT wheels set up. Range on fast mode is about 10km (6.2miles), but my commute is about 12-13km daily so I struggle to keep the speed throughout the city (stopping for red lights, then accelerating all the time..).

I was wondering if I should buy Slick Revolution Rough Stuff wheels, which should increase the range for me just enough without losing the comfort.

On street set up, I can do 20km++ (12.4miles) easily with the fast mode.

But the comfort is the most important part when I commute for 30min one way daily.

As I live in London we have many potholes and rough asphalt roads, some cobblestone too. Street wheels suck for my commute big time.

AT wheels are awesome for comfort but the range is not good enough for me...
Would you say Slick Revolution wheels could save the day? I can't afford to upgrade the board :S I hope you can help me out here! Anyone tested both? Opinions? Thanks!

I would say look into a battery upgrade and keep the at setup if comfort is key.

You cannot compare them in the slightest for comfort. Rough stuff wheels are bumpy and hard as hell. Speaking to Robert from SR recently he said they were looking into a softer version but the concave would be lost.

Hey, that's exactly what I'm doing! Thanks for your tip! Kevin is doing an upgrade for me so I'm very happy!
