Good Morning everyone, I am getting ready to switch out the AT setup for the street setup. I am a little concerned about the nose being vulnerable to damage. Does anyone have anything they have tried that works well for protection. I was thinking cutting something out from hard foam but figured I would ask first.
    Thanks, Gary

    Zerofuhks,

Sweet thanks. I thought I had looked through all of the accessories but obviously not. Well worth the 10 dollars. Thanks again and Take Care, Gary

Thanks for looking out for me there. I actually contacted Evolve support about something else and spoke to Adam. Nice person and Great customer service! He was saying I could drill a new set of holes in the bumper so it mounts on the GT carbon. Sense I was gonna build something myself I am all about drilling new holes in the plastic guard. Worse case is I am out the price of a good six pack of beer. Best case it saves the nose of the carbon so I am all over that. ;-)

Hey guys, have you seen the range of Nose Bumpers & Motor Bumpers that this Australian company are producing for the Evolve Carbon GT?

Great that an Aus company would do this but $45 posted for one set of AT motor guards. umm No

$10 plus two new holes and seems to fit great. It comes with screws about an 1/8 inch longer so all good.

  7. if you put the street wheels on the bamboo version, does the nose stick out like the carbon?

Only bought with AT, yet to buy the street setup.

From what I can tell they are similar in that respect but either way the thing for me was what fits between the two wheels. Whether AT or street anything narrow enough to fit between them would damage the nose with a hard enough impact. Example a light pole, guard rail beam or any other post. So for me those objects were the deciding factor. First spill as a watch the board speed towards the curb made me think of it. Luckily I had on AT wheels and was able to apply the brake so no harm no foul. Enjoy.
