    Carvon made an interesting pivot from their hub motor approach. Not actually hub motors anymore! They're direct drive.

    Can't believe no one's thought of doing it like this yet. No gearing advantage, but motors/batteries are improving so fast, that's going to be less and less of an issue. Must be great for that free coasting / least resistance feeling though.

    The Revo 4wd looks bad ass but I dont really care for the puc remote. Wish I would of known about the kickstarter sooner I would of backed the 4wd.

    They still have the $1,699 4WD option available. It's just the $1500 and $1600 options that are sold out.
