Today my Carbon GT 2 in 1 arrived. I thought there was a lot of overacting on the unboxing videos I’ve seen on YouTube, until today. I started to get excited as soon as I opened the box. I’m in bed now but I’m still so excited that I can’t sleep. This board is everything I’ve heard about and then some. I had a little trouble with the pairing at first but that was my mistake. The guys at Carlsbad we’re a great help. It’s been 40 years since I’ve been on a skateboard. It’s like snow skiing or riding a bike. You never forget how. You just get rusty. It’s coming back, slowly. I’m 61 years old so I can’t expect to perform like you young whipper snappers. (Anything less than 60 is a young whipper snapper). If anyone out there is riding the fence about getting an Evolve consider this, I ordered the board 2 days ago. I live in AZ. I have been riding it all afternoon today. I have been able to talk to a courteous, very well informed person every time I have called. I was never put on hold. The emails were answered quickly. This is a well organized first class company. The quality of this board is second to none. Amazing. It is truly an amazing machine. I was interested in another Australian board but I gave up because all I’ve been hearing are promises and stories about problems with Chinese manufacturing. Buy this board. Commute to work. Think of the gas money you can save. Ride a skateboard instead of golfing. Think of the green fees you won’t have to pay for. You won’t be sorry.

Thanks Sk8ter. Stay young. It sounds like you have found the recipe. Yesterday I went on a 17.5 mile trip to the local airport. I have the AT configuration. I was concerned about batteries running out. This Evolve board hung in there and performed like a champ. Keep on Powerflexing!

I live in Mesa, near Ellsworth & Brown. These machines are amazing. I bought the Carbon GT 2 in 1. It came with the AT wheels installed. I like the smooth ride so much that I have no desire to change to the street wheels. The one thing that might motivate me to change is the added distance I could probably get. I needed to ride to Falcon Field Airport a few days ago, and back, almost 18 miles. I am 180ish lbs. There are a few hills. The batteries were pretty low by the time I got home. We should go riding some time.

Hello Steve, Similar age and yes somethings you never really lose.
These things are awesome, a few injuries and I'm off the mountain bike for a while but I can stand just fine on this beast and love it
