    Brian,

I suppose I would start with a few questions, thing like. What's your budget? Do you like a stiff board or one with Flex? Do you have any skateboarding experience? What the terrain like where you will be riding? How much do you weigh? The answers to questions like these can help drill in on the best board for you. If you live near a skate shop, go talk to the people at the shop. Good luck with your search and ride on!

    Take Care, Gary

I would suggest getting a board with all terrain type wheels. They tend to just spit rocks and debris you run over out to the side rather than stopping the board suddenly and causing you to do an impression of Superman. I am currently riding an Evolve Carbon GT 2-in-1, the street wheels have less than a mile on them while the AT wheels are just about spent after almost 1000 miles. I am looking to replace those tires with some of the airless honeycomb ones, like Backfire and Raldey use, because where I ride, I tend to encounter lots of broken glass and other enemies of pneumatic tires
