    Hey all,

I've been buying building and riding electric skateboards for a while now and decided to join this forum. I spend a lot of time on the DIY forum but own a CGT so it's only fitting that I join here too.

I had a Gen1 Boosted board(stolen) and currently own a Evolve Carbon GT and two DIY boards using hub motors. The 1st uses dual Carvon hub motors, and a 12S3P battery and 2x VESC's from Dexter at DIYelectricskateboards. The other board which I call the Black Mamba is a 4WD hub board using 130kv hubs, a 126p battery and 4 VESC-X's from enertion. Hits 40mph with ease faster if you dare. You can't handle it I'm pretty sure!

Welcome. I am backing the Carvon Evo which should be a very promising and reliable board.
Oooo the Black Mamba is a beast. So tell us more about her and pics as well. How long does the battery last at those speed?

    Thank you,

Yeah, 22mph on the Boosted and 25ish on the CGT started feeling really mellow after a few months. My first DIY board satisfied my need for speed but the two 130kv hub motors would get hot climbing hills near my house. 4 hub motors set to draw 50 battery amps each climbs 20% grade hills like it was flat and stay cool enough that I don't have to constantly worry about overheating them.

I feel bad that I'd have to say no since seeing others build threads were lots of help to me. I'll likely be starting a 4wd Carvon build soon, I'll likely document that.
