    Hi everyone,

I just recieved my bamboo gt 2 in 1 and also my partner bamboo gt AT. They both charging and cant wait to have them ready to go for first ride.

Im based in Reading, although im Portuguese, and i never skate or longboard before, i do snowboard in the winter and i kind of miss it a lot during the "summer", thought of getting a leifboard, but as our roads in England are so bad, went for the bambo GT 2 in 1, i be using the AT most of the times as i plan to take one of my dogs to the park on the bamboo gt.

Im a big fan of Arbor boards (snowboards) so in the future i will be swapping decks with a nice bamboo from Arbor, atm all i need is some lights and i should be fine.

Some of my hobbies (way to many) are, snowboard, aerial photography, travelling, cars & tech in general.

    btw, anyone around Berkshire??

Hope i can learn from you guys, take care and ride safe!

Welcome friend, I'm based just outside reading riding a CGT and my son has a GTX..both are street setups (old school). There are some good rides around reading cycle ways e.g. TVP along the river to Caversham, Madejski to town centre, the big used carparks behind the cinema at Winnersh Triangle etc. We also use a few indoor carparks around Wokingham when the weather is rubbish. The best long cruise we found is along the Bournemouth cost from Hengistbury Head to Sandbanks...also Brighton has some epic distance.

Hope to see you out and about, I'm busy for the next few weekends but ping me a note to hookup for a group ride sometime. FYI have you seen there is a group ride (critical mass) in London this Friday?

    Terry

I went TVP last night just for a practice run on the grass with my partner as well, she will need few more sessions to get use to riding, i done pretty well, manage to go up to gt mode and had my german shepperd following me all the time so was really nice. I will def give u a shout once i feel confortable riding on the road.

Bournemouth has some nice bikepaths, also i love Deal, been there several times just for walks, but it should be super fun with the board
