Hello from Jupiter Florida

I’ve had my Bamboo GT for about 2 weeks now. I love it and so do my teenage boys. My neighbors dog not so much.

I first started looking for hover boards as a birthday gift for my youngest. Then realized e skateboards would be more fun. As I did more research and lurking at various forums, I determined I needed to spend a lot more than my typical birthday gift allowance to get something that would meet expectations. I decided to get a bgt for myself and just give my son money for his birthday. But I do ride with him and we trade-off between his regular board and the bgt. I might need to get another e board in the future.

Currently looking for some more pads for my upper body. Helmets are great.

I started with the AT wheels but now I’m on the 97mm 75a’s. I like the street carving and longer distance of the 97mm’s over the ATs, but did have some fun off-road sliding a little with the ATs.

I started similarly with a bamboo gen2. It's definitely easier to convince my wife with two evolve boards now though. I'd love to have them in Florida though. Lots better weather and terrain than New England.

Been pretty happy with a full face DH mountain bike helmet. I need some good elbow protection to go with it. . . took almost a year for my elbow to stich it's insides back together after I fell on top of it and rolled my forearm like a wheel. . . they don't really work well for that.
