Help?

Alright. I was super excited to get my new carbon gtr all terrain today. This is my first skateboard since my “flow lab” board way back in junior high school. Well. I charged up both the remote and the board and when I went to sync them for my first ride and... nothing. Both the board and the remote Bluetooth symbol are flashing, but nothing is talking. I am super bummed for this. Any advice? I have already reset the trigger values. The wheels did spin when I first unpacked it. I have done the calibration a fair few times.
