Carbon GT won’t move with me on it!

I have a 3yr old Carbon GT. I store it for the winter. Yesterday, I charged it, charged the remote synced and it was all good. Wheels were spinning. The minute I step on the board, it would not budge. Wheels don’t move. I get off, resend wheels spin fine. I also heard some strange beeps coming from the board.

This has never happened before. I also have a bamboo and have no such issues. I just prefer the Carbon fitted with AT wheels to navigate the streets after winter

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Are you using the same remote you used the last time your rode it? Was the temperature in the storage unit in a reasonable range? Have you put on some weight?

It sounds like the batteries may not be able to supply the voltage required to turn the wheels with a load on the board.

Try checking the wires/connection on the power button and maybe all others. I have a GTX and can turn on board, test wheels by lifting board which was fine, but the minute I get on and accelerate, it would shut off.

One of the wires on the power button had a bad soldering job and was not connected, except for by heatshrink. After replacing all was good.

  5. I second the wires on the power button. Walked a kid through this last week.
