Can anyone recommend any decent skate gloves for the winter?

It's going to start getting cold here soon and I'm thinking some sports gloves might be useful for when the temperature drops.

Anyone got any recommendations for slim fitting gloves that will still give enough sensitivity to operate the trigger on the remote accurately?

    I bought these ones:

They are pretty cheap, but have some padding on the palms. Definitely easy to use the trigger, but they are not well finished on the inside. Maybe they will soften slightly with age. Put it this way - they are good enough that I'm not looking for another pair!

Don't look too bad! Padding on the palm is a nice touch, good price too.

    Oh really?

Working fine for me on Chome on a OSX.

certain links are parsed and converted to embeddable BB code.

    It should look like this:

Ahh, I bet I know what it is. Are you using any kind of ad blocker?

If you disable it for this domain it'll show up.

Yes, it was the ad blocker. Good thinking. Sorry!

It's all good mate! Glad you said something, good for me to know when stuff like that pops up so I can work on fixes if necessary :)

I live in Minnesota and I've had good luck with a thin poly-liner glove like the Butter glove from Mountain Hardware and pretty much anything you want to put over it. These are probably the thinist gloves I've ever come across and use them by themselves in the fall and under pretty much every glove or mitten I wear in winter whether I'm walking between buildings or snowboarding.
    Butterâ„¢ Glove

For boarding I wear my butter gloves and then a pair of full finger Hillbilly Wrist Guard Gloves. The liners keep the fingers warm and the leather guard gloves keep the wind out. As for sizing just go with what you would normally get, if you want to be sure the liners will fit inside whatever glove you use go with a size smaller, the liners will stretch to fit your hand.

figure i'll try these out, can always cut off the trigger finger on the glove if need be. thanks!
I usually just wear liners like the Butter Gloves but would like some padding for crashing and trying sliding a couple times.

  12. I had already a pair of good gloves, the Loaded Advanced Freeride, but with the sensitive trigger of the remote I was only using one of them and riding with my bare right hand to control the trigger. Since it's colder now I was wearing two pair of gloves but safety wise the right hand glove was not as strong.
So, just cut out a little piece of the glove on the trigger finger, but leaving the liner inside in place.

    ^ Good idea!

I just picked up some Head gloves in TJ Maxx last week. Less than $10, quite form fitting.

Not had a chance to use with the remote yet, but much better than my other gloves. I can actually use my keys and even get my Oyster card out of my wallet and pocket if I don't want to take them off.

I guess they're for Tennis if they're made by Head?
