Album: February 2017 Photo Competition





Hey everyone!

I'm launching a monthly photo competition so you can show off your photography skills and so you can share your Evolving adventures

To make it fun and a bit more interesting that not only will the winner get the prestige and honour of having their photo featured somehow on the site, I'm going to try and get a prize up for grabs each month.

This month I'm pleased to announce that SteveS33 from Flatland 3D has agreed to put up an Evolve Remote Trigger Guard for the lucky winner

He'll even post it anywhere in the world for you! (or maybe delivery it to you via his skateboard if you're based in Michigan)

So, how does it work?

Rules & How It Works

• You can submit up to 4 images to the thread in a month (one for each week, but you can save them up and post 4 at any time if you like)
• At the end of the month I'll rip all the images out of the thread and whack them in a gallery album.
• Then we'll have a week of voting where everyone can like as many of the photos as you wish as a form of voting.
• Once voting has ended, we can all sort the album by most likes and I'll have ourselves a winner!
• The winner gets the prize and I'll feature the photo somehow.

Seeing as it's not quite the end of Feb yet, we'll have a quick one week competition first but you can still submit up to 4 photos.

That's a new one to me, I'll get plenty of use for it in London though!

 

If you win you can be nice and gift it to the next closest winner! (Or keep it for a spare)

You'll still have the prestige that comes with having your photo voted best

I'll think of some way the winning photo can be featured to show it off

 

For sure! There's some pretty artistic riders out there with pretty decent photog skills. Looking forward to see what everyones got though. Points and likes are definitely awarded for creativity on my part as opposed to pure photographic composition, so anything goes! In the end the community will vote up the best

Note: Likes and other post feedback in this thread don't count to the final score. Marking only occurs once everything is exported into a gallery album once submissions are closed at the end of the month. Then everyone can have a high level overview and pick their true favourites.

I've gotta say, the bar is already set pretty high though. Some great photos so far.
