    Interesting Kickstarter here.

My initial thought, surely it would be easy to remove the trucks? But it looks like they've though of that by implementing a shield.

Cool concept, not 100% sure if I'd trust my electric board with it though considering how expensive they are. At least not for long periods of time. Perhaps if you're just nipping in and out of shops running errangs. In which case it would be great.

Only the one side of the board though. So I suppose technically they could still steal your other set of trucks just to annoy you :(

A shield for the king pin or the truck bolts?

Ahh, it says it blocks off access to the king pin nut.

Looking at my Carbon, ff you took off the truck bolts you shouldn't be able to get it out of the lock, should you? They haven't got great pics on the kickstarter to see properly. All the pics are in a moving gif, which is rather annoying.

Yeah the truck nuts and bolts appear to be easily accessed for bottom mount boards you could just take off. Lots of trucks you have to take off the king pin to remove trucks but it's hard to believe this was missed in conceptualising the idea for bottom mount boards which is a lot of boards. you just need a truck tool or 10mm and screwdriver. might be safe for one offs but not for locking regularly in the same place..
